Originally established in 1971, Youthlink is:

• A not-for-profit trust.
• A national provider for CYF referrals (through our residential programme only).
• A professional multi-disciplinary organisation with a strong basis in individual and family systems.
• A provider of multi-cultural programmes with significant in-house Maori and Pacific Island experience in key staff roles – Therapists and Youth Workers.
• One of the few agencies in New Zealand that provides intensive family therapy for clients.

Our programmes are open to young men and young women, generally between the ages of 11-16.

We firmly believe that every young person is multi-faceted, able to achieve his, or her, potential. Research shows that when all social influences in a young person’s life are aligned and in agreement, great progress can be made towards happiness and improved functioning. Youthlink Family Trust provides an organised system of care and support enabling the young person to reach his, or her, goals.
