Community Family Programme

The Youthlink Community Family Programme, based in West Auckland, was developed to provide intensive assistance to young people in crisis, in their community.
This programme works alongside the family and whanau, and incorporates other resources which are important in the young person's life.
Our goal is to assist the adolescent to reach their full potential. The programme's expertise is in Structural Family Therapy and community building to transform divisions within the family and co-ordinate the influences affecting the young person's life, thus providing an organised system of care.

West Auckland Community Family Programme accepts boys and girls:

  • 0 - 17 years of age
  • with anti social behaviour
  • with significant emotional and behavioural problems
  • who may have a history of domestic/family violence
  • who may have significant difficulties at school
  • who may have been in trouble with the law
  • who may be in placement

The Programme is unable to accept young people:

  • with Schizophrenia, Autism, Aspergers
